For your Information

I just wanted to let you all know that this weekend our boys are in a soccer tournament if anyone is interested in seeing them play. They are playing on Thursday at 12, 2, and 4. and on Friday at 7:30 a.m. (yuck) 1:30, and 3:30. If they make it to the playoffs then they will play on Sat. at 8 and 10 a.m. I know that will hinder some of the reunion, but when they asked us to play the games were going to be at the beginning of the week and be over on Thurs. Sorry! Anyway, if you would like to see them you are welcome, just let me know.

Family Memories

Since it is almost time for the reunion, I wanted to show you some of the good times we have had to get you excited for this weekend. We are so excited at our house to see everyone and hope that you are too. We are getting ready to party and make more memories like these!!! See you all soon!

Why are barns traditionally painted red?

I heard this on the radio a while back and thought it was interesting! Barns are traditionally painted red to absorb the daylight/heat and keep it warm at night. Back in the "olden days," they didn't have a heat source since a fire could burn it down, so they painted their barns red using skim milk and rust. Interesting, huh? So, that was our poll question for the month. The other answers were just fun things to throw you off the right trail! Congratulations to the six people (37%) who got the answer right!

Thanks for coming!

This is a belated message, but we wanted to thank all of you who came to Jared's baptism.  It really was a nice day and was fairly stress-free.  We enjoyed seeing many of you--well, actually ALL of you whom we saw.  Thanks for being part of our special day.
